Already filming on the Osmo 360 — or about to buy your first 360 camera and wondering which DJI to pick? The Osmo 360 II keeps the same body, the same 1-inch-class 360 sensors and the same 183 g, then adds 8K at 60fps, more dynamic range, a better night mode and lenses you can swap yourself. Here is exactly what changed, what did not, and where both sit against the Insta360 X6 and X5.
Choose the Osmo 360 II if…
You want the smoothest 8K: 60fps instead of 50, 14.5 stops of dynamic range, SuperNight 2.0 for night rides and city lights, RAW photos, Spotlight Follow to track a person into a flat 4K30 clip, and lenses you replace yourself if one gets scratched on the trail.
Choose the original Osmo 360 if…
You want DJI's 360 camera for less. It shoots 8K at up to 50fps from the same-size sensors, gives the same 100 minutes of 8K30 recording, the same 105 GB of built-in storage and the same 10 m waterproofing — the core of the camera is the same.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Osmo 360 II worth it over the Osmo 360?
Yes, if you film fast motion, at night, or in places where a lens can get scratched: 8K at 60fps, 14.5 stops, SuperNight 2.0 and user-replaceable lenses are the real upgrades. If your Osmo 360 already covers your shooting, the battery life, waterproofing, weight and storage stay the same.
What comes in the Osmo 360 II Standard Combo?
According to DJI: the Osmo 360 II camera, one Osmo Extreme Battery Plus (2150 mAh), a silicone lens cap, a protective pouch, a lens cleaning cloth and a USB-C cable.
Is the Osmo 360 II waterproof?
Yes — to 10 m on its own (IP68), and to 50 m inside DJI's waterproof case, which is sold separately. The Insta360 X6 goes to 20 m and the X5 to 15 m without a case.
Osmo 360 II or Insta360 X6 — which should I buy?
Choose the Osmo 360 II for the smoothest 8K (60fps), more built-in storage and a lower price. Choose the X6 for the longest recording time, deeper waterproofing without a case, Dolby Vision and its larger OLED screen.
Can I pay in installments in Oman?
Yes. Our in-house plan is for Omani nationals aged 18+, on carts from 200.000 OMR, subject to approval — you apply at checkout. Everyone else can use a Bank Muscat or Meethaq credit-card installment plan, subject to the bank's approval.
