1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect

• Identity & contact: your name, mobile number, email, and delivery/billing address.
• Order & transaction data: items purchased, order history, invoices, delivery details, and payment status (we do not store full card numbers).
• Installment data: for in-house installment agreements only, your Civil ID and any co-signer details, used solely to prepare and enforce the agreement.
• Communications: messages you send via WhatsApp, email, phone, forms or support tickets.
• Technical & usage data: IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed, collected automatically via cookies and analytics.
• Marketing preferences: whether you have opted in to our emails and offers.

3. How we collect it

Directly from you (orders, account, messages); automatically as you use the site (cookies, analytics); and from third parties that help us operate — for example a payment confirmation from your bank or a delivery update from a courier.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by our banking partners — Bank Muscat (SmartPay), Meethaq and the National Bank of Oman — and through in-house installment arrangements. Card and banking details are handled by the bank's secure gateway; SkyOrbits does not see or store your full card number.

6. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies (cart, login, security) and analytics cookies via Google Analytics to understand and improve how the site is used. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings; essential cookies are required for the site to work.

7. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties that help us serve you, under confidentiality: banks/payment providers (to take payment); delivery couriers (to deliver your order); Google (analytics) and Meta/WhatsApp (when you contact us or interact with our pages); IT and hosting providers; and authorities or advisors where required by law.

8. International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Google, Meta) process data on servers outside Oman. Where we transfer your data abroad we do so in line with the PDPL and take reasonable steps to keep it protected.

9. How long we keep it

• Order, invoice and tax records — for the period required by Omani commercial and tax law.
• Installment / Civil-ID data — for the life of the agreement plus any legally required period, then securely deleted.
• Marketing data — until you withdraw consent.
• Analytics — for a limited window, then aggregated/anonymised.

10. How we protect it

We apply organisational and technical safeguards — access controls, secure hosting, encryption in transit and staff confidentiality — to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

11. Your rights under the PDPL

You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent at any time, and request a copy of data you provided. To exercise any right, contact info@skyorbits.tech; we respond within the period required by law. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Omani authority (the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology — MTCIT).

12. Children

Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

13. Third-party links

Our site and messages may link to other websites (manufacturers, social media). We are not responsible for their privacy practices — please review their policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
