DJI Osmo Pocket 4 vs Pocket 4P vs Insta360 Luna Pro vs Luna Ultra: Which to Buy? (2026)

Four pocket gimbal cameras with a 1-inch sensor, compared line by line from DJI's and Insta360's own pages.

Short answer: For most people the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is the best value of the four. At 209.900 OMR it is the lowest-priced and the lightest at 190.5 g, and it shoots 4K at up to 240fps in Slow Motion mode. Want 8K? Only the two Insta360 cameras record it, at up to 30fps: the Luna Pro at 249.900 OMR has one 1-inch Leica Summicron camera, and the Luna Ultra at 284.900 OMR adds a 60 mm telephoto camera with up to 15x zoom and 200 MP panoramas. Want a second lens for portraits but 4K is enough? The Osmo Pocket 4P at 269.900 OMR pairs a 1-inch wide camera rated at 17 stops of dynamic range in D-Log 2 with a 60 mm f/1.8 camera, for 15.000 OMR less than the Luna Ultra. The DJI pair keep more storage inside; the Insta360 pair take bigger microSD cards, and their screen comes off as a remote.

All four are pocket gimbal cameras with a 1-inch main sensor and 3-axis stabilisation, so the choice comes down to 8K, slow motion, a second lens, weight and price. Every figure below is from DJI's and Insta360's own pages.
