Short answer: The Bambu Lab H3C is Bambu Lab's tool-changer 3D printer, and the combo with the AMS 3H is 1,539.000 OMR including VAT. It is built for people who print in many colours or materials and are tired of waste and waiting. Instead of one nozzle that unloads and reloads filament, it carries nine PrintTools, each with its own filament path and heater, so in its best-case test Bambu lists a material switch in as little as 6 seconds and purge as low as 0.038 g. The AMS 3H holds nine spools in a sealed unit and dries two of them at up to 85 °C. You also get a 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume, 350 °C hardened-steel nozzles and a chamber heated to 65 °C for materials like PPS and PA. Print mostly one or two materials? The H2D Combo with two nozzles at 1,089.000 OMR, or the smaller X2D Combo at 599.900 OMR, costs far less.
Printing in four colours and the purge tower comes out bigger than the model? That is the problem the H3C is built to remove. Every figure below is from Bambu Lab's own product, spec and help pages.
What is new in the H3C
- Nine PrintTools, not one nozzle: each tool has its own filament path and heater, so a colour change does not mean pulling one filament out and pushing the next one in.
- Fast, clean switching: in its best-case test Bambu lists a 3.4-second tool change, a material switch in as little as 6 seconds and purge as low as 0.038 g.
- AMS 3H with drying: nine sealed spool slots and two drying slots up to 85 °C. Older AMS units you already own (sold separately) can join through PrintTool No. 1, for up to 24 spools.
- Different nozzle sizes in one job: hardened-steel nozzles from 0.2 to 0.8 mm, all up to 350 °C, and with extra hotends (sold separately) the H3C can carry different sizes at once.
- Quicker motion: up to 1,400 mm/s and 25,000 mm/s², with a maximum flow of 40 mm³/s.
- More than printing: optional CraftTools, sold separately, such as the CutTool and DrawTool.
- It watches the print: a 1080p live-view camera and a 1080p toolhead camera, with AI that catches spaghetti, purge-bin jams and clogs.

Who should buy the H3C?
- You print in many colours or materials most of the week: figures, signs, models and parts where every colour change used to cost filament and time.
- You print with soluble support: Bambu lists PVA and BVOH, the usual support materials, as supported filaments.
- You print engineering parts: PPS, PA and PC, with carbon or glass fibre, at 350 °C in a chamber heated to 65 °C.
- Your printer is part of a business: when the printer runs all day, less purge and fewer minutes per colour change add up.
When the H2D or X2D makes more sense
- Bambu Lab H2D Combo: two nozzles, a 325 × 320 × 325 mm volume with one nozzle, and a 10 W or 40 W laser option (Laser Edition or upgrade kit), at 1,089.000 OMR.
- Bambu Lab X2D Combo: the smallest and lightest of the three on Bambu's spec figures (16.25 kg), for one or two materials on a desk, at 599.900 OMR.
- Bambu Lab H3C Combo: nine PrintTools and the AMS 3H, when colours and materials change many times in every print, at 1,539.000 OMR.
Before you buy
- Power: 200-240 V; Bambu rates the 200-240 V version at 2,250 W at 220 V, and a Low Power Mode of 1,050 W helps on a busy circuit.
- Network: Wi-Fi 6 only; there is no Ethernet port.
- Space: 36.28 kg with the AMS 3H, and Bambu recommends a space of 593 × 1056 × 1306 mm.
- Warranty: 1 Year Official Warranty, handled by Skyorbits.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Bambu Lab H3C?
It is Bambu Lab's tool-changer 3D printer. It carries nine PrintTools, each with its own filament path and heater, so every material stays loaded and pre-heated, and the AMS 3H on top stores and feeds up to nine spools.
How much is the Bambu Lab H3C in Oman?
The H3C Combo with the AMS 3H is 1,539.000 OMR including VAT at Skyorbits.
How fast does the H3C switch materials?
Bambu lists a tool change in 3.4 seconds and a material switch in as little as 6 seconds, with purge as low as 0.038 g, in its best-case test with PLA. There is no need to pull one filament out before the next one goes in.
How many colours or materials can the H3C use in one print?
Up to nine from the AMS 3H that comes in the combo. Bambu says older AMS units you already own (sold separately) can be connected through PrintTool No. 1 for up to 24 spools.
What is the difference between the H3C and the H2D?
The H3C has nine PrintTools; the H2D has two nozzles. The H3C is also faster on paper, at up to 1,400 mm/s and 25,000 mm/s² against 1,000 mm/s and 20,000 mm/s². Both reach 350 °C at the nozzle and heat the chamber to 65 °C. Of the two, only the H2D lists a laser option: 10 W or 40 W, as a Laser Edition or an upgrade kit.
Can the H3C print engineering materials like PPA, PPS and carbon fibre?
Yes. Bambu lists PPS, PA, PC and PPA, with their carbon- and glass-fibre versions, as supported by the printer, with hardened-steel nozzles up to 350 °C, a 120 °C bed and active chamber heating to 65 °C. PPA is not on the AMS 3H feeding list, so check Bambu's AMS 3H list before loading it there.
What power and network does the H3C need?
A 200-240 V supply; Bambu rates the 200-240 V version at 2,250 W at 220 V, with a Low Power Mode of 1,050 W. It connects over Wi-Fi 6, and there is no Ethernet port.
