It stabilises up to 5.5 stops (6 with an in-body-stabilised camera), focuses with Dual Nano USM motors, takes Canon's RF 1.4x and 2x extenders to reach 420 or 600mm with autofocus and stabilisation still working, and is dust and weather resistant with a heat-shield coating. It weighs about 2.6 kg.
