It is almost always the sound. The Insta360 Mic Air puts a tiny wireless microphone on the person talking instead of leaving it on the camera three metres away, and that single change does more for a clip than any lens.
This is the full package: one transmitter and one receiver. The transmitter clips to a shirt. The receiver plugs into the camera or the phone. That is the whole setup.
Works with: USB-C smartphones and Insta360 Flow series gimbals through the receiver, and directly with Insta360 X6, X5, X4, X4 Air, Luna Ultra, GO Ultra and Ace Pro 2.
One thing to be clear about: Mic Air records in mono only. If you later add a second transmitter, both voices are recorded onto one channel.
