The world's smallest and lightest integrated-lens PTZ camera from Sony, with AI-powered auto-framing that tracks presenters and performers on its own.
The Sony BRC-AM7 is a professional PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera built around a 1.0-inch Exmor RS sensor with the BIONZ XR processing engine, recording 4K 60p (3840×2160). Its 20x optical zoom (24-480mm equivalent) extends to 30x in 4K and 40x in 1080p with Clear Image Zoom. Sony's AI-based Auto-Framing analyzes pose, head, face, and clothing data to track a moving presenter with smooth, natural framing, backed by an autofocus system tuned for reliable subject tracking. Sony claims it's the world's smallest and lightest integrated-lens PTZ camera, at 168.7×225.2×192.3mm and about 3.7kg. It outputs via 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, and fiber, with NDI|HX, RTSP, RTMP, SRT, and VISCA over IP support, plus timecode input, genlock, and tally — powered via 4-pin XLR or PoE+.
Who it's for: studios, houses of worship, lecture halls, and live-event production teams that need a camera to track a moving presenter without a dedicated camera operator.
