Privacy notice — payment plans & in-house finance
1. Scope
This notice explains how SkyOrbits collects and uses personal data when you read our payment plans page, apply for an in-house installment plan (subject to management approval), send us identity documents after your application, or sign a finance agreement with us. It does not cover banks, IFIN, or third-party finance providers — each has its own privacy policy.
2. Data we collect

We do not collect Civil ID images through this website at any point.
3. Why we use your data
- To assess your in-house installment request (approval is at our discretion);
- To confirm your identity and eligibility;
- To contact you about your application, by WhatsApp or email;
- To prepare quotations, sale orders, and finance agreements;
- To comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations;
- To prevent fraud and protect our legitimate business interests.
Lawful basis: your consent for the application and identity check; performance of a contract once a plan is approved and signed; legal obligation for tax and accounting records. You may withdraw consent at any time — see section 7.
4. Who we share data with
- Internal staff — sales, finance, management, on a need-to-know basis;
- Our IT systems and hosting providers — see section 5;
- Banks and finance partners — only if you choose bank installments, IFIN, or external finance. We do not pass your data to them without your instruction;
- Authorities — where required by Omani law or a valid court order.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your application data for marketing without a separate opt-in.
5. Where your data is stored, and transfers outside Oman
Your data is processed outside the Sultanate of Oman. By applying, you consent to these transfers:

Civil ID images are never stored on our website server.
6. Retention

7. Your rights under Omani law
Under the Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) you may:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your data where the law allows;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- complain to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT).

8. Security
Access is limited to staff who need it. Civil ID images are encrypted before storage and are not held on our public website server. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

We may update this notice. The current version is posted here with the "Last updated" date above.
