Regular drone or 360 drone? What the ANTIGRAVITY A1 does that a normal drone can't

Fly first, choose the angle later: who the A1 is for, and its honest limits

Short answer: A regular drone films where its camera points. The ANTIGRAVITY A1 films every direction at once in 8K 360, so you fly first and choose the angle later. Its Invisible Drone effect is designed to keep the drone out of the shot, Point-to-Fly lets you steer by pointing the Antigravity Grip in your hand, and the Antigravity Vision goggles put you inside the flight. The Infinity Bundle we sell adds three high-capacity batteries, rated at up to 39 minutes each, a charging hub, a carry case and a sling bag. The honest limits: like any camera drone in Oman it needs registration and a licence, and because you pick the angle after the flight, plan some time in the app before you share. If you want one drone that is also a 360 camera and an experience the whole family will queue for, it is worth it. The Infinity Bundle is 659.000 OMR including VAT.

What if the drone never showed up in your shot? That is the question the ANTIGRAVITY A1 answers. Here is what changes when a drone films in 360, who it suits, and where it is not the right pick.

Four things a 360 drone makes easy

  • Fly first, frame later: the A1 records the whole scene in 360, so you pick the angle after the flight instead of aiming before take-off.
  • Invisible Drone: designed to keep the drone out of the finished 360 shot.
  • Point-to-Fly: point the Antigravity Grip and the A1 flies that way.
  • Goggles: the Antigravity Vision goggles show the flight around you, not on a small screen.

Shots to plan in Oman

Mountain roads, the coast and family trips are where a 360 drone shines: one flight over a viewpoint gives you the wide landscape, the car on the road and the people waving, all from the same recording. Before every flight, check that the place is open to drones; our drone-law guide explains registration and the licence.

The honest limits

  • Licence: with a camera on board, the A1 needs registration and a licence in Oman, like any camera drone.
  • Editing time: choosing the angle after the flight is the point, so plan time in the app before you share.
  • Weight: with the high-capacity batteries in our bundle, the A1 weighs more than 249 g.

If you only want quick straight-ahead photos from the air, a regular drone is simpler. If you want every angle from one flight, and goggles the family will fight over, the A1 is the one.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a 360 drone and a regular drone?

A regular drone's camera points one way, so you aim it before the shot. The ANTIGRAVITY A1 records every direction at once in 8K 360, and you choose the angle after the flight. One flight gives you many shots.

What does Invisible Drone mean on the A1?

It is ANTIGRAVITY's name for the effect that is designed to keep the drone itself out of the finished 360 shot, so the video looks as if a camera floated in the air on its own.

Is the ANTIGRAVITY A1 hard to fly for a beginner?

It is built to be easy: with Point-to-Fly you steer by pointing the Antigravity Grip in your hand, and omnidirectional obstacle sensing with Brake and Bypass modes helps keep it clear of objects. Practise in an open, permitted area first.

How long does the A1 fly on one battery?

ANTIGRAVITY rates it at up to 39 minutes with the high-capacity battery and 24 minutes with the standard one. The Infinity Bundle comes with three high-capacity batteries and a charging hub.

Do I need a licence to fly the ANTIGRAVITY A1 in Oman?
