• 4K30fps vertical video, oversampled from 6K.
• Beauty Mode and filters together, also with 4K and Zoom Live Frame photos.
• 9:16 and 3:4 photo ratios, and Backpack Mount head tracking with automatic gimbal orientation calibration.
• And 7 more changes listed on Insta360's page, including Quick Capture and slow shutter speeds from 1/15 to 1/5 s.

1. Make sure the device has at least 20% battery. Don't turn it off or remove the touchscreen remote during the update.
2. Connect it to the Insta360 app. The app tells you when a new firmware is available: follow the on-screen steps.
3. Keep it close to your phone and keep the app open until it finishes.

Or with the file: download the firmware from Insta360's page (button below) and copy it, without renaming it, to the root folder of the SD card or of the device's storage (connected by USB in File Transfer mode). Charge above 20% and turn it on: the update starts by itself and the light flashes green.
