GoPro HERO13 Black firmware update

• General update: security update (GoPro's own wording).

Easiest: the GoPro Quik app. Charge the camera to at least 50%, connect it to Quik on your phone and follow the update prompt.

Or manually with a microSD card:

1. Download the update from GoPro's page (button below) and extract UPDATE.zip.
2. Copy the UPDATE folder (not the zip, and not a folder like UPDATE(1)) to your microSD card.
3. Charge the battery to at least 50%.
4. With the camera off, put the card in and turn the camera on. It updates by itself and turns off and on a few times. It is done when a check mark shows on the front screen or the language selection screen shows on the rear screen.

If you see CAMERA UPDATE FAILED, take the battery out, put it back and start again. Still not working? Try a different microSD card.
