Update, but read this first
Read first: some X2T-C, X2T-N and X2T-S triggers have their own file. Look for a Z01 or Z02 mark on the casing near the USB port or on the battery cover, and download the file for that mark.
How to update
- Check your version first: turn it on and check the version in the menu.
- From Godox's firmware page (button below), download the Godox G3 update software (the latest version; V2.0 or later for the X2T-C Z02 file) for Windows or Mac and the firmware file for your exact model. Godox's list runs over several pages: look for your model. The file differs by camera mount: the letter after the model name is the mount (C = Canon, N = Nikon, S = Sony, F = Fujifilm, O = Olympus/Panasonic, L = Leica, P = Pentax).
- Connect the X2T to the computer with a USB cable, open G3 and follow its steps to load the file and update.
- Keep it connected and switched on until G3 says the update is complete.
