A small fix update: you can go straight from any older version.
How to update
- Check your version: follow the version-check steps on FUJIFILM's page (button below).
- Download the firmware (FWUP0033.DAT) from FUJIFILM's page (button below) and copy it to a memory card formatted in the camera.
- Use a fully charged battery. Put the card in, turn the camera on while holding DISP/BACK, and follow the screen to update.
- It takes up to about 5 minutes. Don't turn the camera off or touch its controls during the update.
You can also update from your phone with FUJIFILM's smartphone app: FUJIFILM's page (button below) explains how. You can update from any older version straight to the latest. Once updated, some data from the previous version cannot be restored, so save your settings first if you changed them.
