FUJIFILM X-S20 firmware update

• 3.30 (22 Jul 2025): wireless security is stronger and the pairing procedure changed; the WIRELESS COMMUNICATION options are removed from the menus.
• After this update you can no longer print straight to an instax SHARE SP-1/2/3 printer.
• The iOS FUJIFILM Camera Remote app no longer connects (use FUJIFILM XApp), and Android Bluetooth pairing needs Bluetooth 4.2 or later.
• Before it, 3.20: smoother exposure tracking with the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II lens in Movie mode and M mode with a fixed ISO, a LINEAR focus-ring setting by rotation angle, and fixes for the RAW development display after bracketing, the camera not turning on with one specific SD card, and a WRITE ERROR with specific SD cards.

1. Check your version: with the camera off, hold DISP/BACK while you turn it on.
2. Download the firmware (FWUP0031.DAT) from FUJIFILM's page (button below) and copy it to a memory card formatted in the camera.
3. Use a fully charged battery. Put the card in, turn the camera on while holding DISP/BACK, and follow the screen to update.
4. It takes up to about 5 minutes. Don't turn the camera off or touch its controls during the update.

You can also update from your phone with FUJIFILM's smartphone app: FUJIFILM's page (button below) explains how. You can update from any older version straight to the latest. Once updated, some data from the previous version cannot be restored, so save your settings first if you changed them.
