- 2.00 (30 Sep 2026): SOFT GLOW added to the IMAGE QUALITY SETTING filter functions.
- FILM CAMERA MODE offers 12- and 24-frame options.
- Faster response: shorter startup time, shorter AF time (especially when the focus point changes from the previous shot and in dark scenes), and a shorter interval between shots.
- Other minor bugs fixed.
- Before it, 1.30: printing with instax Evo and instax LiPlay, swipe to move the focus frame in AREA AF, and a fix for the charging light staying on after the NP-W126S battery is full in the camera.

How to update
- Prepare a formatted memory card.
- Download the firmware (FPUPDATE.DAT) from FUJIFILM's page (button below) and copy it to the card.
- Use a fully charged battery. Put the card in the camera.
- In the camera menu choose SETUP > USER SETTING > FIRMWARE UPDATE and follow the screen.
- It takes up to about 5 minutes. Don't turn the camera off or touch its controls during the update.
FUJIFILM: once the firmware has been updated, some data from the previous version cannot be restored.
