- Remote control from a watch (Apple Watch only for now): see the camera feed, move the gimbal, switch portrait and landscape, start ActiveTrack and view the first frame of what you shot.
- Better ActiveTrack performance and display, for steadier subject tracking.
- Better AI Editor in Parents & Kids Mode: DJI Mimo edits the video automatically.
- These need DJI Mimo V2.0.4 or later.
Should you update?
Update now
Still the latest Osmo Mobile 6 firmware (June 2024). If yours has never been updated, it is worth doing.
How to update
- Update DJI Mimo (DJI lists V2.0.4 or later for this firmware).
- Make sure the gimbal's battery indicator shows green or yellow.
- Connect Osmo Mobile 6 to DJI Mimo; when a new firmware is available, connect your phone to the internet and follow the on-screen steps. It takes about three minutes.
- Don't leave DJI Mimo during the update.
If the update fails: restart Osmo Mobile 6 and DJI Mimo, reconnect the phone's Bluetooth and retry.
