Worth installing. DJI: to use it with the Osmo Pocket 4P, the Mic 2 transmitter needs v04.05.01.11 or later.

How to update

  1. Download the firmware (.bin file) from DJI's page (button below). Update the transmitters and the receiver on a computer, one at a time.
  2. Connect a transmitter or the receiver to the computer with the supplied USB-C cable. The receiver must be switched off when you connect it; a transmitter can be on or off.
  3. Put the .bin file in the root of the transmitter or receiver.
  4. Disconnect it from the computer. The receiver starts updating by itself and its screen shows "updating"; a transmitter starts once you switch it on, and its status light blinks red and green while it updates.
  5. When it is done, check the firmware version on the receiver.

DJI: if it fails, download the firmware again, restart the device and repeat. If a transmitter doesn't update after switching on, turn off Auto Record on the receiver's screen, or stop the transmitter's internal recording after connecting it to the receiver.
