Update now
A feature and fix update. Known issue from Bambu Lab: updating offline from 01.04.00.00 or earlier can show garbled text; run the offline update again or connect the printer to the network.
How to update
Online (printer on Wi-Fi): when the printer shows that a new firmware version is available, follow the screen to update. Don't turn the power off; it can take 10-20 minutes.
Offline (microSD card):
- The A1 or A1 mini must already be on 01.04.00.00 or later to update offline; if not, update online first.
- Download the offline upgrade package for your printer from Bambu Lab's firmware page (button below). That page can list a slightly older version than the online update.
- Eject the microSD card: Settings > SD Card > Eject.
- Copy the package to the root of the card. Don't rename it or unzip it.
- Put the card back and start the update from the printer: Settings > Firmware > Update Offline.
- Don't turn the power off; wait 10-20 minutes.
