That is what the battery version of the XGIMI Vibe One is for. It runs up to 1.2 hours of video or 4 hours of music on one charge, so it moves from the living room to the roof to the desert camp without you looking for a socket.
It runs Google TV with licensed Netflix built in, which matters more than it sounds — a lot of portable projectors make you plug a stick in because Netflix will not license them. Picture is 1080p. Sound is two 3W speakers tuned by JBL, so it works as a speaker on its own.
Set-up is automatic focus and automatic keystone correction: put it down, point it roughly, and the image squares itself. The stand adjusts through 160 degrees so you can throw the picture up onto the ceiling, and the same stand folds into the carrying handle.
Ambient Light Mode turns it into a lamp with 8 colours when you are not watching anything, and there are stickers in the box if you want to change how it looks.
