The Wacaco Minipresso NS2 is the capsule one, and it is the simplest of the family to live with. You drop in a Nespresso Original compatible capsule, add hot water, and pump it with your hand. The coffee is already ground, measured and tamped inside the capsule, so there is almost nothing to get wrong and almost nothing to clean afterwards.
Its pressurised portafilter is what puts a proper layer of crema on the cup rather than the thin coffee most travel makers give you. It pulls up to 60 ml.
This is the second generation, smaller and lighter than the original Minipresso NS: 130mm long and 290g, which is roughly the size of a large marker pen. The body is partly made from wheat-based polymers.
One thing to know before you buy: the Minipresso NS2 does not heat the water. You pour hot water in. That is why it needs no power at all.
