Questions our customers asked
Does it include the binocular adapter?
No. This kit is the ST-124 tripod and the VA-5X head only, without Sirui's BA-1 binocular adapter.
How much camera weight can the head hold?
Sirui rates the VA-5X head for up to 3 kg.
Want one compact tripod for photos and smooth video pans?
This kit pairs Sirui's ST-124 carbon fibre tripod from the Standard Series with the VA-5X fluid video head. Sirui designed the ST series for mirrorless and compact cameras, with waterproof twist leg locks and a triangle-shaped centre column.
- Legs: carbon fibre with waterproof twist locks that seal out water and dust
- Centre column: triangle-shaped carbon fibre, reversible for very low shots
- Feet: rubber feet with retractable spikes
- Accessory ports: 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch
- Head: VA-5X fluid head, rated to 3 kg, 360-degree pan, tilt -60 to +90 degrees
- Quick release: side-loading plate with safety pin and flip lock
- Dual bubble level; handle on the left or right
- This kit does NOT include the BA-1 binocular adapter that Sirui bundles in its own ST-124 + VA-5X + BA-1 kit
Good to know: The photos show the ST-124 tripod and the VA-5X head separately, because Sirui's own kit photos include the BA-1 adapter that this kit does not have.
