This K&F Concept set gives you six protective hot shoe covers plus a vacuum-packed microfibre cleaning cloth. Each cover slides into the camera's flash mount and keeps dust, moisture and debris off the shoe and its electronic contacts, and stops metal objects touching those contacts and shorting them — protection for the part of the camera that spends most of its life uncovered because the original cover was lost in the first week. K&F make them to universal standard sizes to suit most bodies; they note the covers are not suitable for Sony cameras made before 2012. Having six means there is a spare in every bag.
