Light beams you can actually see, from something pocket-sized.
A 40W battery-powered fog machine small enough to keep in a camera bag. Haze is what makes a light beam visible on camera, and until now getting it meant a mains machine and a van. This runs on two included 18650 cells for over 10 minutes of continuous output at full power, recharges over Type-C in 2.5 hours, and takes a remote out to 10 metres. 36 fog patterns with adjustable intensity and speed, from an 8 mL tank. Attachments included: a straight tube for faster output, a curved tube to aim it, a sponge filter for a low-lying dry-ice look, and a flex hose. The fluid is food-grade, non-toxic, odour-free vegetable glycerin.
Who it's for: photographers and video crews who want atmosphere without a mains machine.
