Questions our customers asked
What is the difference between the body and the kit?
The kit adds the Canon RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM lens (about 395 g, 67 mm filters). The camera is the same: Canon EOS R8 Mark II. Prices: body 769.900 OMR, kit 894.900 OMR, VAT included.
Does the Canon EOS R8 Mark II have in-body image stabilisation?
Yes. Canon lists in-body stabilisation of up to 7.5 stops at the centre and 7.0 stops at the edges, tested with the RF 24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z. The figure depends on the lens.
How long does delivery take?
It is available by order and arrives in 7-9 working days across Oman. Message us on WhatsApp if you want to confirm before you order.
Want full-frame quality in a camera you will actually carry every day? The EOS R8 Mark II adds in-body stabilisation to a 546 g full-frame body.
The Canon EOS R8 Mark II is a compact full-frame mirrorless camera with a 24.2MP sensor, DIGIC X processor, in-body image stabilisation and Dual Pixel CMOS AF II. Choose the body on its own, or the kit with the RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM lens.
- Sensor: 36.0 x 24.0 mm full-frame CMOS, about 24.2 megapixels, DIGIC X processor, ISO 100-102,400 (expandable to 50-204,800)
- Stabilisation: in-body, up to 7.5 stops at the centre and 7.0 stops at the edges (Canon test: CIPA 2024, RF 24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z at 105mm)
- Burst: up to 40 fps with the electronic shutter only (needs a lens that supports the top speed), pre-continuous shooting records up to 20 shots before you fully press; 6 fps with electronic first curtain
- Autofocus: Dual Pixel CMOS AF II tracking people (eye, face, head, body), animals (dogs, cats, birds, horses) and vehicles; Register People Priority; low-light AF to EV -7.5 (stills, with an f/1.2 lens)
- Video: up to 4K 60p oversampled from 6K, Full HD up to 180 fps, 10-bit internal recording, Canon Log 3 / PQ / HLG via Custom Picture
- Screen and finder: 3.0-inch touchscreen (about 1.62 million dots), 0.39-inch OLED EVF with 2.36 million dots at up to 120 fps
- Connections: 5 GHz / 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (also charges the camera, with a genuine Canon battery only), micro HDMI, 3.5 mm microphone and headphone jacks, multi-function shoe
- Body: about 499 g (546 g with card and battery), 131.4 x 90.0 x 79.7 mm, mainly magnesium-alloy body (partly aluminium and polycarbonate), dust- and water-resistant construction; one UHS-II SD card slot
Kit lens, RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM: full-frame RF zoom with optical image stabilisation (Canon: up to 5-stop), STM focusing, closest focus 0.2 m at wide / 0.34 m at tele, 67 mm filter thread, about 395 g, 76.6 x 88.8 mm.
Available by order, 7-9 working days across Oman. Prices include VAT: body 769.900 OMR, kit 894.900 OMR.
Good to know: The 7.5-stop figure is Canon's test result with the RF 24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z, not with the kit lens. The 40 fps and the buffer figures are Canon tests with a 128 GB UHS-II card and a compatible RF lens. Canon says the camera is dust- and water-resistant but cannot completely prevent dust or water droplets entering, and the supplied shoe cover should stay on unless a weather-sealed accessory is fitted. No battery charger is listed in Canon's box: the camera charges over USB-C (Canon lists the PD-E1 / PD-E2 USB power adapters as accessories), and Canon says USB charging is not supported with unauthenticated batteries, so use a genuine Canon battery. Canon EF and EF-S lenses fit with the EF-EOS R adapter; EF-M lenses do not fit. Cards are sold separately.
In the box (body): EOS R8 Mark II body, shoe cover ER-SC2, camera cover, neck strap ER-100G, LP-E17 battery pack, battery pack cover and user manual (Canon's list).
In the box (kit): Everything in the body box, plus the RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM lens. The lens hood EW-73D and lens case LP1116 are not included (Canon's lens page).
