Anamorphic character, with autofocus doing the work.
The Sirui Astra 75mm T1.8 is a 1.33x full-frame anamorphic cine lens for Nikon Z. The 1.33x squeeze restores a 2.35:1 widescreen frame with no cropping and no pixel loss, and brings the anamorphic signature with it — vertical background stretch and oval bokeh that happen in the glass rather than in a plug-in. What makes the Astra series unusual is that it autofocuses: an STM motor drives AF with a physical AF/MF switch to hand control straight back to you. It covers a 44mm image circle, so it fully covers full-frame mirrorless sensors, and it is offered in neutral or blue flare versions.
Who it's for: solo shooters and small crews who want the anamorphic look without a focus puller.
Key specs: T1.8 to T22 · 1.33x squeeze · 44mm image circle · M67 x 0.75 filter · 0.6m close focus · 666g in Z mount.
