How long does delivery take in Oman?
Home delivery is 2.100 OMR including VAT (free from 50.000 OMR) across Oman in 1-2 working days. Collection from a courier office is 1.050 OMR (free from 50.000 OMR). Express within Bawshar and Seeb is 5.250 OMR for in-stock items. Showroom pickup in Al Khoudh is free.
Does Skyorbits handle warranty claims?
Yes - we submit every warranty claim for you. Electronic items carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty from the purchase date; keep the box and contents for the first 15 days.
Can I pay in installments?
Installments: Bank Muscat and Meethaq credit-card plans for everyone, or our in-house plan for Omani nationals 18+ (from 200.000 OMR, approval needed).
What is the return and exchange policy?
Returns cover manufacturing defects only, within 15 days, with the box, all contents and the invoice - not change of mind. After 15 days we send the item to the authorized service center. Exchanges are handled case by case.
How do I request a repair?
Start a repair or warranty request online, then bring the device, invoice and box (within 15 days) to our Al Khoudh showroom in Muscat. We track every case in our system.

Will this fit my Sony camera?
Yes — it's built for Sony E-mount full-frame bodies (and also covers APS-C).
What's in the box?
The lens, hood (LH770-05), a protective slip cover, and front/rear caps — no padded case and no tripod collar as standard.
Does it come with a tripod collar?
No — Sigma sells the tripod collar separately for this lens; most shooters mount it via the camera body's own tripod socket instead.
Can I use a Sigma teleconverter to reach further than 400mm?
Sigma's TC-1411/TC-2011 are matched to this lens for up to 800mm, but they're L-Mount only — not compatible with this Sony E-mount version.

The Sigma 100-400mm F/5-6.3 DG DN OS | Contemporary is a light, compact ultra-telephoto zoom for Sony E-mount — Sigma's own "Handy Tele Master," and winner of the TIPA World Award 2021 for Best Ultra-Telephoto Zoom Lens. It covers everything from compressed portraits at 100mm to wildlife, birding and sports reach at 400mm, in a body that stays genuinely easy to carry.
