Questions our customers asked
Can it spread my desktop across the screens?
No. It mirrors one source to all eight screens; it does not extend the desktop. MT-VIKI's own page says "Just mirror, not extend".
What resolution does it support?
Up to 4K × 2K at 30 Hz, plus 1080p up to 60 Hz. It is HDCP compliant with HDMI 1.4b output.
Is the power adapter included?
Yes. MT-VIKI lists the splitter and a DC 5V power adapter in the package.
How long can the cables be?
MT-VIKI recommends no more than 49 feet (about 15 m) of cable for the best picture. Cascading two splitters allows 50 ft on the input plus 50 ft on the output, 100 ft in total.
One source, eight screens, the same picture on all of them?
The MT-VIKI MT-SP108-M takes a single HDMI input and mirrors it to eight HDMI outputs at once. It handles 4K×2K at 30 Hz as well as 1080p, full 3D and 12-bit deep colour, passes LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio through untouched, and is HDCP compliant on HDMI 1.4b. It ships with its own DC 5V adapter, needs no software, and units can be cascaded for more outputs. MT-VIKI recommends no more than 49 feet (about 15 m) of cable for the best picture.
Read this before you buy: a splitter mirrors one picture to every screen. It does not extend a desktop across them — that is a different device, ask us.
Who it's for: a showroom running several displays, a hall or majlis, a classroom, or a shop with screens in more than one room.
Why buy from Skyorbits: VAT-inclusive pricing in OMR and fast delivery across Oman.
