It records 7K 30p RAW Open Gate — the full 3:2 sensor — so a single take can be reframed for widescreen, vertical and square without shooting it twice, plus 7K 60p RAW Light in 17:9, oversampled 4K at 60p and 30p, and uncropped 4K 120p slow motion with full autofocus. Canon Log 2 and Canon Log 3 give 15+ stops of dynamic range, and Canon 709, HDR PQ and HLG are there when you want finished colour straight out of camera. A built-in cooling fan keeps long takes and live streams running. For stills it shoots up to 40 fps with the electronic shutter, and Pre-continuous Shooting saves up to 20 frames from before you fully pressed the shutter.
