The little brass stud that makes two threads talk to each other.
The Manfrotto 013 is a double-ended male stud: 1/4"-20 on one end, 3/8" on the other. It is the part you reach for when a light, an arm, a clamp or a head has the wrong thread for the stand you own — screw the 013 in and the mismatch disappears.
Machined from brass, so the threads stay true instead of rounding off the way soft aluminium studs do after a few rigs.
Who it's for: anyone running lights, clamps, magic arms or grip gear where thread sizes never quite match.
Key specs (verified): male 1/4"-20 and male 3/8" threaded ends · 5/8" (16 mm) diameter body · brass construction · 70 g.
