How long does delivery take in Oman?
Home delivery is 2.100 OMR including VAT (free from 50.000 OMR) across Oman in 1-2 working days. Collection from a courier office is 1.050 OMR (free from 50.000 OMR). Express within Bawshar and Seeb is 4.200 OMR for in-stock items (free on orders from 500.000 OMR). Showroom pickup in Al Khoudh is free.
Does Skyorbits handle warranty claims?
Yes - we submit every warranty claim for you. Electronic items carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty from the purchase date; keep the box and contents for the first 15 days.
Can I pay in installments?
Installments: Bank Muscat & Meethaq credit-card holders can pay online over 12 months, 0% interest, no fees, on orders from 100.000 OMR (website or app). Omani nationals 18+ can apply for our in-house plan (from 200.000 OMR, approval needed).
What is the return and exchange policy?
If an item has a manufacturing defect, you can return it within 15 days with the box, all contents and the invoice. We can't take back a working item for a change of mind, so ask us before you buy and we'll help you choose. After 15 days we send the item to the authorized service center. Exchanges are handled case by case.
How do I request a repair?
Start a repair or warranty request online, then bring the device, invoice and box (within 15 days) to our Al Khoudh showroom in Muscat. We track every case in our system.

Does it work with my phone?
Yes. RODE includes cables for cameras and for smartphones in the box.
Does it need a battery?
No. It is powered by the camera or phone through the 3.5 mm input, so there is nothing to charge or switch on.
Will it cut wind noise outdoors?
It comes with a foam windshield and a furry windshield; use the furry one outdoors in wind.

The RODE VideoMicro II is an ultra-compact, all-metal shotgun microphone for mirrorless and DSLR cameras and smartphones. Its supercardioid pattern and annular line tube focus on the sound in front of the camera, and the HELIX isolation mount keeps handling bumps out of the recording. It takes its power from the camera, so there is no battery to charge.

Good to know: It takes its power from the device it plugs into. Check in your camera's manual that its 3.5 mm mic input supplies plug-in power; for a phone, use the smartphone cable from the box.
