Cut the light, keep the cinematic shutter — on a phone.
The SmallRig MagEase Magnetic Smartphone VND Filter Kit (4387) is a variable neutral-density filter for smartphone video. Two stacked polarising layers rotate against each other to hold back 1 to 5 stops of light (the equivalent of ND2 to ND32), so you keep a slow, natural-looking shutter in bright daylight instead of letting the phone crank it up. SmallRig specify HD glass from Germany with waterproof, stain-resistant, mildew-proof and scratch-resistant AR coatings, and the large-diameter ultra-thin frame will not vignette. Hard stops at ND2 and ND32 prevent over-rotating past the usable range. The filter snaps on and off a universal 52mm magnetic adapter ring in a second.
Who it's for: phone filmmakers who shoot outdoors and want real exposure control.
Key specs: ND2-ND32, 1-5 stops · no cross pattern · universal 52mm magnetic adapter included.
