The FUJIFILM X half is a compact camera built around a 1-inch 13.3 x 8.8mm sensor of 17.74 million effective pixels mounted vertically, so the native frame is a tall 3:4 — the shape phones and social feeds actually use. A fixed 10.8mm F2.8 lens gives a 32mm full-frame equivalent view, and you compose through an optical viewfinder with a vertical rear LCD plus a small sub-screen. Film Camera mode asks you to pick one Film Simulation and a roll of 36, 54 or 72 frames, then hides your images until the roll is finished and digitally developed. 2-in-1 mode pairs two frames into a half-frame diptych. There are 13 Film Simulation modes plus a bank of Advanced Filters — Light Leak, Halation, Expired Film, Retro, Vignette and more — and video.
