Wide to portrait-tele, stabilised and weather-sealed — one lens for the whole day.
The FUJIFILM XF 16-80mm f/4 R OIS WR covers 24-122mm in full-frame terms at a constant f/4, which makes it a genuine single-lens kit for travel, events and documentary work. Optical image stabilisation steadies handheld stills and video, and the weather-resistant barrel keeps working in dust and light rain. The optical design is 16 elements in 12 groups including three aspherical elements and one ED aspherical element, and it focuses to 35cm for 0.25x close-ups at the long end.
Who it's for: X-series photographers who would rather carry one versatile zoom than swap primes all day.
Key specs (verified): 16-80mm (24-122mm equivalent) · constant F4, minimum F22 · OIS · weather-resistant · 72mm filter · approx. 440g.
