Questions our customers asked
Do I need an audio interface to use it?
No. The D3V connects directly to a computer over USB-C; the balanced TRS inputs are there only if you already run one.
Does it come as a single unit or a pair?
This listing is the D3V active desktop monitoring system — the matched pair, each with its own angled stand.
Studio-grade monitoring that sits on a desk, not a stand.
The Adam Audio D3V is an active desktop monitor pair built around a 3.5in aluminum woofer and ADAM's own compact D-ART ribbon tweeter, driven by 240W of total system power. Frequency response runs 45 Hz to 23.2 kHz, with dual passive radiators on each cabinet to extend the low end without a subwoofer.
Connect over USB-C straight from a laptop, or use the two balanced TRS inputs if you already run an audio interface. Each pair ships with detachable stands angled toward the listener, so the tweeters point at your ears instead of the desk.
