The Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary for FUJIFILM X covers 27-75mm in full-frame terms with a bright f/2.8 aperture held right through the range, so exposure and depth of field stay put as you zoom. The optics run 13 elements in 10 groups, including three aspherical elements and one SLD low-dispersion element to control aberration, behind a 7-blade rounded diaphragm. A stepping motor drives fast, quiet autofocus with AF-C support, and the mount is rubber-sealed against dust and splashes. It focuses to 12.1cm at the wide end for close-up work.
