- 1.7.6 (23 Sep 2026): RØDECaster Sync now also works with the RØDECaster Video and RØDECaster Video S (they need their RCV 1.4 firmware).
- From 1.7.3 (11 Mar 2026), the last stable version before it: RØDECaster Sync for audio mixer and SMART pad control of RØDECaster Video CORE devices, Wireless channels as their own type so you can use them together with XLR channels, and USB multitrack output that follows the mixer's channel order.

How to update
RØDE updates the RØDECaster Pro II through its RØDECaster App for Mac and Windows: open the app with your RØDECaster connected and use its firmware update (the app's page is the first button below). RØDE's release notes (second button) list every version; the versions marked BETA are test versions, so wait for a stable one.
