How to update
- Check your version: on the camera, swipe down from the top of the screen, tap Settings > Camera Info > Camera Firmware Version.
- Make sure the battery is above 25% and the SD card is in the camera.
- Open the Insta360 app with the camera connected. When a new firmware is available, the app shows a pop-up: tap "Download now" and it downloads and installs the update.
- Keep the camera close to your phone, keep a stable internet connection, and keep the app open in the foreground until it finishes.
Or with a computer: connect the camera with its USB cable and choose "U-Disk Mode" on the camera screen, download the firmware from Insta360's page (button below) and copy it to the camera without renaming it.
