About us

SkyOrbits (Aflak Al Sama) is an Omani company equipping photographers and filmmakers since 8 August 2008.

We are a Muscat-based retailer — not a faceless online-only seller. From our Al Khoudh showroom we supply cameras, lenses, cinema lighting, DJI drones, and pro audio with local warranty and bilingual support.

Our timeline

1. 8 August 2008SkyOrbits (Aflak Al Sama) established in the Sultanate of Oman.
2. 2010 – 2012Exhibitor at COMEX technology trade shows.
3. 2011 – 2012Laptop supply for the government student support program.
4. 2012Retail focus shifts to photography and cinema equipment.
5. 2009Facebook presence (@skyorbits) — primary social channel since 2009.
6. 2014+Instagram used for stock alerts (referenced in our posts since 2014).
7. TodayAl Khoudh showroom, a broad online catalog, and more than 5,704 confirmed orders in 2025 alone.
