A fast 35mm prime built for stills and video in the same body.
The Sirui Aurora 35mm f/1.4 is a full-frame autofocus prime for L-Mount cameras. Sirui is an L-Mount Alliance member, so autofocus and colour matching are built against the standard rather than reverse-engineered. The optical design runs 16 elements in 11 groups, including SED and ED ultra-low-dispersion elements plus three aspherical elements with nano multi-coating, to hold clarity corner to corner wide open at f/1.4. A stepping motor drives autofocus with eye AF and subject tracking. The build is all metal, dust-resistant and rain-resistant, and the front element carries an anti-smudge fluorine coating against fingerprints and oil.
Who it's for: hybrid shooters who want one fast 35mm for portraits, events and low light.
Key specs (verified): minimum focus 0.35m, 0.14x · 62mm filter · approx. 490g.
