Rubberized pads help to protect the back and edges of your GoXLR. While you can still yank the power cord out like most TC-Helicon products, this desk stand also includes an in-line power switch adapter for more traditional power control.

TC-Helicon purposefully created the stand to be heavy, with rubberized feet, so it stays put. When you've got everything where you want it, the last thing you want is your gear sliding away from you as you push the buttons. Your focus needs to be on your stream, your podcast, and your audience, not your gear.
The Power is in Your Hands
Many of TC-Helicon's products for musicians don’t have a power switch, since the cable just gets yanked out at the end of a gig. They designed GoXLR with the same power setup, so it’s perfectly safe to pull the power cable when you want to turn it off.
However, some users expressed a desire for a more typical on/off switch, so TC-Helicon included an in-line power switch with the desk stand. Simply plug your GoXLR adapter into the switch and the switch into your GoXLR.
